By downloading, installing, or using Hold to Talk ("the app", "we", "our"), you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

Hold to Talk is a macOS application that converts speech to text. You press and hold a key, speak, and your words are transcribed and pasted into your active application. The app requires an internet connection to process transcriptions.

2. Plans and Billing

Hold to Talk offers a free plan with limited usage and paid plans with higher limits. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app or the billing management portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Hold to Talk and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your transcriptions belong to you.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transcriptions will be perfectly accurate.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website.
